I would like to discover about how water form upon different kind of surfaces. I would like to discover more on how music and sound affect how people feels. I come to an assumption that cd disk is the surface that make water look unique because of the the reflection surface.

I believe that sound give out feeling and it inspire me on to creating the movement of water on the cd. So after doing the research, I decide on doing a stop motion video on the cd. Even though at first I change the material from cd to acrylic sheet. The acrylic sheet is transparent and is harder for me to see the water. Other material such as foam also didn’t work because water leak into the hole.

So I try thinking of how to present my work with cd and water. I choose to create different pattern of water running according to the sound. I like water is dancing on the cd, in which cd itself represent music and in my case, it is use to create a surface to create artwork. I feel that how water move would create the sound therefore I would like to create a sound that go along with my water stop motion.
